Papa Roach have been joined onstage by Jacoby Shaddix's own son, Jagger who teamed up with his papa to absolutely smash a duet on Infest fave Dead Cell.

The duet took place on the recent Colorado Springs date of their co-headlining Rockzilla Tour with Falling in Reverse, with Jagger proving that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to vocal talent.

Watch fan footage of the performance below.

The opportunity to perform with his son, seemed to really hit home with Jacoby, with the frontman who just notched up 30 years behind the microphone for Papa Roach taking a moment to express how special the moment was for him.

"I want to do something special... I want to bring my son, Jagger Monroe Shaddix, to the stage! Because this kid grew up Papa Roach... Jagger, how the fuck you feeling tonight, brother?" before they set about activating the pit with their crushing duet.

Jacoby also took to Papa Roach's Instagram to share some video from his perspective, including a nice backstage moment with Jagger.

This wasn't the first time that Jagger has joined his papa on stage, having delivered an adorable duet with Papa Roach on Still Swingin' some nine years prior, when the now eighteen-year-old Jagger was just nine-years-old.

Whether Australian fans will get a chance to see any father-son moments when Papa Roach hit our shores alongside The Used in April for The Cut My Heart Into Pieces Tour remains to be seen. One thing that does seem guaranteed is that the tour will bring out the rowdy side of Papa Roach, with Jacoby recently commenting  that “we’ve been such huge fans of THE USED forever and we are thrilled to bring this tour down under - AUSTRALIA GET READY TO GET ROWDY!"

Last year Papa Roach brought an iconic Last Resort meme to life in the most fitting way possible, by inciting a wall-of-death at a local pizzeria! Celebrating the release of their 2022 album Ego Trip Papa Roach played a show at Shakey's Pizza in Hollywood and metal fans being metal fans, they set off a memorable wall-of-death to the Infest song Blood Brothers.  Watch the wild footage below.

An album that sprouted almost by mistake in the throes of a global lockdown, its seeds were planted when the quartet entered a COVID-secure mansion in Temecula, California in the summer of 2020. What started as an escape and an exercise in keeping the creative juices flowing, in a world that had completely ground to a halt, quickly grew into something bigger. Purposeful, provocative, and just the right side of the line between confident and cocky with frontman Jacoby Shaddix offering no apology for the title.

“I really hope the album title stops a few people in their tracks”

Ego Trip is Papa Roach -completed by guitarist Jerry Horton, bassist Tobin Esperance and drummer Tony Palermo - at its boldest and most brilliant. Shaddix reveals the inspiration behind the album.

“Throughout my life I’ve embarked on this constant journey to unravel this...thing, this eternal paradigm; this struggle between the light and the dark. I see it alive in the world and it’s something I’m constantly trying to find balance in with regard to my own life. Who is at the wheel of my ego? Is it the high-frequency version of myself, the one who is more spiritual and self-aware, or is it the low-frequency version who can be selfish, self-centred and self-seeking? Throughout the process of making this record, we had some really profound conversations about life, who is at the helm of our egos and what it is that drives and motivates us.

Fans have had a chance to dive into singles Cut The LineStand UpDying To BelieveKill The Noise (which held the no. 1 position on the USA's Mainstream Rock Charts for over a month) and a genre-bending banger of a single Swerve featuring Jason Aalon Butler (Fever 333) and Sueco.
