Papa Roach, Fever 333 and Sueco in video for Swerve

Cali’s Papa Roach have swerved us all again. The Cali nu-metal/rock mainstays have dropped Swerve, a hectic collaboration with Jason Aalon Butler of Fever 333 and Sueco.

A bombastic bass and sax driven banger built around an earworm chorus, Swerve is funky and fun, with vocalist Jacoby Shaddix feeding off the Fever 333 frontman’s energetic flow throughout. Adding to the anthemic summer vibes TikTok rapper Sueco lays down a killer verse of his own.  The track is an early taste of Papa Roach’s upcoming eleventh studio album, a record that if Swerve is anything to judge it by will find the makers of nu-metal mega-hit Last Resort offering up a fresh take on their sound.

The accompanying hyper coloured video featuring Jason Aalon Butler, Sueco and Jacoby cruising the streets of LA in bright pink convertible lowrider while the rest of Papa Roach drive alongside them in pimped out GoKarts is a total trip, with Jason’s undeniable energy and presence turning the volume up to eleven at all times.  It’s actually pretty amazing how even in the most over the top environment like the Swerve video you just can't take your eyes off of the former letlive. and current Fever 333 leader whose band released their debut album Strength in Numb333rs via Roadrunner in 2019.

Speaking about the video for Swerve Jacoby Shaddix said “Filming this music video with Jason and Sueco was one of the most fun experiences we’ve had and I am so excited to share it with the world”.
