Beloved Baltimore hardcore outfit Turnstile have expanded their Australian headline tour.

The triple Grammy nominees have announced a new headline show at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on February 19th.  The band has also moved their long sold-out Melbourne headline show to The Forum on February 14th, and rescheduled their Sydney headline show to The Enmore Theatre in Sydney on February 16th, with both new venues offering greater capacity.

Tickets for the headline dates in Brisbane and Sydney are set to be particularly coveted, with the band having to withdraw from Laneway Festival dates in those two cities, due to a scheduling clash with the GRAMMY award ceremony. They will still be appearing on Laneway Festival's Auckland, Adelaide, Melbourne and Fremantle shows. Turnstile will be supported by critically adored, Australian hard-core prodigies SPEED on all headline dates.

Tickets for the Brisbane show and the rescheduled Melbourne and Sydney dates go onsale via promoter pre-sale at 10am (local) Thursday 19th January and to the general public at 10am (local) on Friday 20th January. Additional info for each dates and ticket purchase links can be found here

One of the absolute standout albums of 2021, the band's most recent full-length Glow On is a forward-thinking, hyperactive blast of creative energy and expressionism. It has cemented Turnstile as THE band to watch in modern hardcore, with their creative choice to leave no stone unturned in their quest to achieve their kaleidoscopic, genre-hopping intent, finding favour not just in our corner of the world, but outside of it as well, resulting in moments of genuine mainstream crossover.

Confirming their dizzying ascent, Turnstile have been nominated at the upcoming GRAMMY Awards in three categories, Best Rock Song (Blackout), Best Rock Performance (Holiday) and Best Metal Performance (Blackout) The nominations follow two years of consistent growth for Turnstile which has seen them become a genuine cultural phenomenon, with moments of mainstream crossover including a much celebrated appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

That performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! followed a previous TV appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. The band also went viral twice of recent time, firstly for their appearance on NPR institution, Tiny Desk Concerts, and then thanks to Demi Lovato declaring them her favourite band and posting a photo backstage from one of their shows.

The band has capitalized on that success by turning in memorable sets at festivals across the globe, as well as playing the biggest headline shows of their career. They will also serve as the primary support on blink-182's enormous stadium tour of North America.

Speaking to Maniacs vocalist Brendan Yates explained that the creative expressionism found on Glow On is a representation of where the band is at now.

"The cool thing about being in a band or making music is that every record you make, or every song you put out, is a reflection of where you are at that given point in time.  I think this record is defining where I’m at right now. Turnstile is this constantly changing and growing thing, so I’m very excited about what we’ve been able to put together as a reflection of where we are at right now."

Turnstile took an immersive approach to the rollout of Glow On including making a short film for the pre-emptive EP release  Turnstile Love Connection.
