Incubus and Live have announced a tour of Australia for April 2024.
The two icons of '90s rock will combine forces for a co-headlining tour that will see them each play full-length sets in Wollongong, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
Speaking on the announcement of the tour, which will be the band's first tour of Austalia in five years, Live frontman Ed Kowalczyk says "The band and the show is so good and so strong, and the fans who have seen it so far have been extremely happy! So, it was most definitely time to come and share it with our mates down under."
“And the icing on the cake is going to be sharing the stage with Incubus for the first time. I have always been a fan of their deep vibes, intellectual lyrics, and ground-breaking musical style. I think the pairing of our two bands is perfect in so many ways, and I’m sure it will be a night to remember for all of the fans. See ya soon!”
Incubus frontman (and recent Reservation Dogs guest star) Brandon Boyd is equally excited by the prospect of the tour. "We’re excited to come back to Australia and see everyone! Tickets for the co-headline tour go on sale on Thursday, 21 September at 2pm local time with the Wollongong and Adelaide sales handled by Ticketmaster and Sydney and Melbourne tickets through Ticketek.

In exciting news for fans of the bands outside of those markets, the two groups will also fill the role of headliners for the inaugural Lookout Festival, where they will be joined on the lineup by Aussie rock royalty Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe and The Superjesus.
Lookout Festival will hit Bribie Isand and Southport in Queensland, Mornington in Victoria and Hillarys in Western Australia.
Described by organisers Face Face touring as a "live music concert event that celebrates the best of alternative rock with music that has stood the test of time, along with some fresh new sounds on the scene. Taking place in some of Australia's most epic outdoor locations, the atmosphere will be electric. Get amongst the waves of roaring live music in this truly unique concert experience." Lookout Festival promises to deliver an "unforgettable and outstanding live music experience, where international and Australian rock unites in a unique setting to form an unforgettable and outstanding live music experience".
