Slipknot's'maggots' are one of the most truly fanatical fanbases in the world. One of those maggots has taken it upon themselves to create a Slipknot-specific spin-off of heardle, called, Slipknot Heardle.

Slipknot Heardle functions much the same way as heardle, challenging you to guess the name of Slipknot songs based off brief snippets of the audio. You get six guesses, with the highest points given to those who guess the song correctly, the quickest.

If you have a special gift for recognising Slipknot songs within seconds of them starting, then head on over and prove yourself the ultimate maggot. A little wordle of warning though, Slipknot Heardle is very easy to play but very surprisingly difficult to master.

Slipknot have given us maggots a rather unexpected, high-definition gift over the weekend, uploading HD versions of nearly their entire video back catalogue to YouTube.

The Iowa metal icons have made the iconic visuals for ten songs, all of which pre-date the HD era. The songs given the HD treatment are Wait and BleedSpit It OutLeft BehindDuality, Before I Forget, VermillionVermillion, Pt. 2, Psychosocial, Sulfur, and Snuff, with the HD remastering giving many of the clips an even more sinister edge.

Watch the HD update of the self-titled rager Spit It Out beow.

As any self-respecting maggot would know Slipknot are gearing up to release their seventh studio album The End, So Far on September 30th. Recently the band shared the M.Shawn 'Clown' Crahan-directed video for the recent single Yen

The band shared the lead single The Dying Song (Time Sing) in July. Like, Yen, The Dying Song (Time To Sing) was also accompanied by a video directed by the band's own multi-disciplinary artist M. Shawn 'Clown' Crahan. Speaking on The Dying Song (Time To Sing) Crahan reveals

“New Music, new art, and new beginnings. Get ready for the end."

The Dying Song (Time To Sing) followed the single The Chapeltown Rag as our second taste of The End, So Far with both tracks touching on different sides of the Slipknot soundscape.

Slipknot have unveiled limited-edition band member CDs of The End So, Far. The nine different CD offerings each depict a different member on the cover and all of them are available for pre-order now via the Maniacs store
