    Have You Seen Nickelback

    Nickelback are missing and a series of social posts and billboards are appealing for your help in finding them. 

    A cryptic message has been shared across social media that reads "Have you seen Nickelback? Got information? For reward text: +1(310)706-2016."

    This same message has popped up on billboards across the US and Canada. 

    It appears to be part of a campaign for a new single, however, no concrete details are available outside of a website that has been set up for fans to leave tip-offs and clues as to the band's current whereabouts. 

    Loudwire investigated what happens when you text the number, revealing that you're given one of three choices.

    1. 1. To provide details regarding the band's whereabouts and be entered to win a reward, text an eyes emoji.
    2. 2. To hear an audio recording taped the day of the band's disappearance, text a chain link emoji. 
    3. 3. To prepare for something new, text a siren emoji. 



    The audio recording is of a very metal-sounding guitar solo. 

    Nickelback's last release was the 2017 full-length Feed The Machine. Last week the band shared a snippet of a rather heavy, dare we say it, kinda metalcore sounding song. 

    That snippet was shared reportedly against the wishes of their label. The subsequent 'disappearance' of the band adds further intrigue to what's going on in the Nickelback camp.
