The Amity Affliction have shared a video for the new single Not Without My Ghosts.  A moody, slow-burning offering Not Without My Ghosts features LA-based alt-pop artist phem, who can be heard trading melodies with The Amity Affliction's co-frontmen Ahren Stringer and Joel Birch

Commenting on the track, Birch says the new track addresses  “the way you can’t travel through life without dragging the ghosts of your past behind you, and how they manifest in their various forms.”

The black-and-white video that accompanies the single was directed by Daniel Daly and features Stringer, dressed in funeral attire, walking through a rather spooky graveyard, under the constant gaze of a grim-reaper-like character.

Not Without My Ghosts is the title track from their highly anticipated new album Not Without My Ghosts. Set for release on Friday 12th May, Not Without My Ghosts is available for pre-order/pre-save now here. Maniacs are excited to be offering an exclusive t-shirt and vinyl bundles in our online store.

The album’s 10 songs were self-produced at Grove Studios in New South Wales. Talking about the record, the band reveal “’Not Without My Ghosts’ mostly deals with the paradox of not wanting to be alive, and yet needing to stay here, while also mourning the loss of friends and trying to use the music as catharsis.” Earlier this week, The Amity Affliction announced a national tour in support of the record, with shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Perth throughout October.
