Basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal has dropped a new freestyle rap Thotties Hit The Floor that features him dropping bars over Drowning Pool's nu-metal smash Bodies.

The latest musical offering from the hall-of-fame centre, media megastar and generational cultural force utilises Bodies as a backing track and features Shaq showing off his considerable rhyming talents which have previously seen him release four full-length rap albums.

Posted to TikTok by Shaq himself over the weekend, Thotties Hit The Floor further solidifies Shaq's long-held affinity for rock music, with the dominant big man having previously collaborated with 311 and repped hard for Sydney hardcore breakouts SPEED

Check it out for yourself below.

Bodies was released on the 2001 full-length Sinner and catapulted Drowning Pool to worldwide stardom. Shaq's freestyle ensures the legacy of late vocalist Dave Williams timeless vocal hook continues to endure, with Shaq's considerable reach providing an opportunity for Bodies to crossover to new audiences.
