Lorna Shore have announced their debut tour of Australia. In February, the band will bring their wildly popular deathcore to Fremantle, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Tickets for the tour, which will commence on February 14, 2025, in Fremantle, will be on sale on Friday 14 June at 10 am local time. A presale will be held on Thursday 13 June from 10 am AEST. Sign-ups for the presale are now available via Destroy All Lines.

Lorna Shore have survived and thrived against insurmountable odds over the years. Hailing from New Jersey, the group forged their present lineup and sound in 2020 against the backdrop of a pandemic, a singer change, and cancelled tours. Emerging with staggering new vigour via their 2021 EP ...And I Return To Nothingness and their 2022 full-length album Pain Remains, the Lorna Shore rebirth rose like a guttural phoenix in a blazing display of raw emotion, technical prowess, and unforgettable twists and turns that garnered chart and critical success on a global scale.

Solidified with the insatiable vocal stylings of Will Ramos joining the fold, debuting officially on ...And I Return To Nothingness, Lorna Shore have since catapulted onto the cover of Britain's Rock Sound, supported Australian metalcore juggernauts Parkway Drive, snagged viral status on TikTok, generated millions of streams, and ticked off a sold-out UK headline run, with their live energy also hammering home the group's boundless stranglehold on the realms of modern and innovative extreme metal.

Speaking on the tour, the band's Adam De Micco stated "Good things happen to those who wait or that Patience is a virtue but enough overused cliches to acknowledge it's been long overdue that we finally tour the land down under. With all that being said we are excited to announce we are finally touring Australia. We hope to see all of you there."

Joining Lorna Shore for the tour run will be Florida's Bodysnatcher and Australia's own To The Grave.  Dealing in all things dark, furious and sonically threatening, Bodysnatcher have graced stages supporting the likes of Chelsea Grin and Slaughter To Prevail, with the band also in command of multiple albums and EPs, including 2017's Death of Me, 2020's This Heavy Void and 2022's Bleed-Abide.

To The Grave has emerged as "one of Australia's heaviest exports" (Revolver), with the militant vegan deathcore crew ticking off sold out national headline runs in 2022 and 2023, as well as support slots alongside Cattle Decapitation, Thy Art Is Murder and Carnifex. A band anchored by ambition and conscience, To The Grave recently released their gripping new album Director's Cuts in 2023.

Will Ramos of Lorna Shore and YouTube metal-streaming megastar Nik Nockturnal have released a brutal cover o the Cannibal Corpse classic Hammer Smashed Face.  Ramos who joined Maniacs in 2022 for a conversation about the making of their record The Pain Remains, is renowned for the ferocity and diversity of his vocals. He sets those skills to feral on the Hammer Smashed Face cover, paying faithful tribute to Chris Barnes iconic delivery while the instrumental brings the homage into more modern deathcore realms. The collaboration between Ramos and Nocturnal joins Thy Art Is Murder's crushing take on the track as notable covers of the quintessential Cannibal Corpse rager.

Hammer Smashed Face appears on Cannibal Corpse's debut EP Hammer Smashed Face which was released in 1993. The track received widespread fanfare in the early '90s due to its inclusion in a key scene in 1994's Ace Ventura: Pet Detective starring Jim Carrey.
