    POSTED

Remember that Burn the Priest teaser that Lamb of God shared last week? Well, all the beans have been spilled and it looks like the band will be reuniting as their first incarnation Burn the Priest to release 'Legion: XX' on May 23, a covers album featuring tracks which influenced the band members growing up.

The band have kicked things off with 'Inherit The Earth', a track originally by the influential American crossover thrash band The Accsed which you can hear below.

The rest of the track list includes some interesting picks from older hardcore/punk and sludge bands such as Bad Brains, Agnostic Front, Melvins, Cro-Mags and Quicksand to name a few (the full track listing is below).

While it's not new music, the concept is very cool and it'll be very interesting to hear how some of these turn out (especially that Ministry cover!). You can pre-order the album over at the official site.
