    Yesterday we brought you the very shitty news that Buffalo hardcore legends, Every Time I Die had broken up, in what appeared to be rather acrimonious fashion. Tonight vocalist Keith Buckley has taken to his personal social media to state his truth about the events that resulted in the breakup of the band. 



    Buckley detailed statement,  posted to his personal Twitter can be seen below. 

    Buckley's lengthy post provides significant background detail on the events that led to the band breaking up, as well his perspective on the frayed connection between himself and the other four members of Every Time I Die, who posted their own collective statement, officially breaking up the band yesterday.  Their post can be seen below. 

    The other members of Every Time I DieAndy WilliamsJordan Buckley, Steve Micciche and Clayton 'Goose' Holyoak are yet to respond publicly to Buckley's post. 



    At Maniacs, we really hope everyone involved can resolve their issues in time and that the musical legacy and memories that they created together can remain untarnished.

    One of the most heralded hardcore punk bands of their era, Every Time I Die leave behind a cult-like fanbase of 'ETIDiots', nine studio albums and a reputation as one of the most unfuckwithable live bands to ever grace the stage. Their final studio recording was last years critically acclaimed Radical.

    In the words of their final official single, Thing With Feathers the video for which you can watch below,

    "I think you're done here, standing ovation".
