DMX is probably one of the hardest rappers out there, so on paper it makes sense that his music would translate pretty well into the metal world. Enter YouTube metal cover artist Frog Leap Studios, who has tried to do exactly that with 'X Gon' Give It To Ya', the track featured on the Cradle 2 The Grave soundtrack and more recently the Deadpool soundtrack too.

Keeping the lyrics in place, Frog Leap puts his own arrangement with instruments under it; the result isn't as nu metal-sounding as you might expect, but it's still a pretty cool experiment nonetheless. Watch it for yourself:

If you were to draw a Venn diagram of DMX and metal fans, there would probably a fair amount of crossover already; DMX's aggressive delivery had him performing at the infamous Woodstock '99 alongside Korn and Limp Bizkit, and of course, also appeared on Bizkit's 'Rollin' Urban Assault Vehicle' with Method Man and Redman.
