It's coming up on the 5th anniversary of David Bowie's passing, who left us on January 8, 2016 at the age of 69, and there's a livestreamed tribute show called A Bowie Celebration: Just for One Day scheduled to take place to honour the occasion.
There's a lot of high-profile talent involved with the show including a supergroup called Ground Control headed up by none other than Corey Taylor, along with Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), and Taylor Hawkins!
Setlists haven't been announced ahead of time, but with a band name like that we're hoping they'll tackle Bowie's classic 'Space Oddity'. The show will also feature Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross, Lzzy Hale, Billy Corgan and many more. Tickets are $32.20AUD and can be purchased here along with a ton of other bundles.
It's also set to take place at a very Aussie friendly time at midday AEST on Sunday, January 9, with the show available for 24 hours after it ends, so there will be plenty of opportunity to check it out if you can't make the livestream. Peep the trailer below:
