Before Tool became one of the biggest names in heavy music, they spent a couple of years in the early 90's perfecting their craft and playing local shows around the Los Angeles area to hustle a fan base, before becoming signed and releasing some of the best albums of all time.

In what is believed to be the earliest footage of Tool in existence, the band rip through an incredibly short but raw set at Hollywood's Club With No Name, with Maynard James Keenan tapping into his inner demons to become some kind of feral animal on stage.

The set clocks in at under 15 minutes, but there's a few tracks off their debut EP Opiate, which would be released the following year, and 'Bored', the first single off 1993's Undertow. Peep the tracklist then watch the amazing performance below:
