Architects have unleashed the explosive new single, Curse. Produced by former Bring Me The Horizon member Jordan Fish, the track is available everywhere via Epitaph Records. In addition to the single, the band announces the anticipated second leg of their North American tour.

Instantly grabbing attention with a guttural scream by frontman Sam CarterCurse is rife with blast beats, massive guitar riffs, and Carter’s impressive vocal range as he switches between aggressive verses and a melodic chorus. The track is elevated by the pummeling bridge that sees the band embracing their roots with one of their heaviest, most eruptive breakdowns to date. Following the bridge with a stripped-back final pre-chorus, Curse is a testament to the intensity and versatility that has earned Architects millions of fans across the globe.

Curse follows on the heels of the fiery single Seeing Red, in kickstarting the latest era of Architects.  A blending together of some of the heaviest and hookiest moments of the band's career to date, Seeing Red points towards continued sonic evolution on the eventual follow-up to last year's full-length the classic symptoms of a broken spirit.

The incorporation of Jordan Fish as producer on Curse continues a hot-streak for Fish, who has recently worked on releases by One Ok Rock and Puscifier and is working with Spiritbox on their next release. Fish acted as producer on the Bring Me The Horizon albums That's The Spirt, Amo and Post Human: Survival Horror.  He is considered one of the key elements in the evolution of their sound over his decade of involvement with the band.

For Architects, Curse is the second look at life post the exit of guitarist Josh Middleton. The band now consists of Dan Searle, Sam Carter, Alex Dean and Adam Christianson . Speaking to Maniacs prior to touring Australia last January, Sam Carter commented on Middleton's role in the band, offering his thoughts on the delicate balance he had to maintain between the Architects and Sylosis fanbases in the wake of Architects' continued sonic exploration.

Do you feel like it took people a little bit of time to come around to the idea that just because you'd added the guitarist from Sylosis, it didn't mean that you were necessarily going to go full-on tech death or something?

"Definitely. It definitely seemed to spook some people. It’s funny with Josh as well, because when people slag off Architects, they seem to forget that he loves us and he writes for us too. So when Syslosis fans say “what is this fucking shit, play more Sylosis”, he’s like “I’m in both bands, leave me alone, let me enjoy doing both things”. He’s pretty funny with it, he doesn’t read any of the comments, and he doesn’t care to know about any of it really."
