Australian power rock trio Antiskeptic made their triumphant return today with the release of the new single Young Hearts.
The first taste of the returning heroes' freshly announced forthcoming album Instincts, Young Hearts leans into the powerful riffs and hooks that established Antiskeptic as one of the most beloved local acts of the '00s. Starting with an off-kilter beat and exploding with Antiskeptic's trademark flare.
Featuring the original lineup of vocalist/guitarist Andrew Kitchen, bassist/vocalist Sean Daly and drummer Nick Coppin, Young Hearts shows that there's a lot of life left in the seasoned trio.
Speaking on the track, Kitchen reflects "Thematically, this song is about coming to terms with the fact that you’ve spent your youth and embracing the new season of your life."
Young Hearts arrives accompanied by a fiery video clip produced by Ryan Chamley (Robot Army Productions). Shot on location in a metal workshop in Geelong, the team utilized multiple practical effects and elements to achieve exciting visuals to match the band's renewed fire and energy.
