Northern Territory post-hardcore protagonists Tapestry are set to blow audiences in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane away this December as part of the massive Good Things Festival line-up. Ahead of them hitting the road, we caught up with drummer Ben Masters for a chat about five drummers from the Good Things line-up that have inspired him.

Chasing Ghosts are currently touring the country in support of Young Lions on their Burn tenth-anniversary tour. Ahead of returning to the road with Young Lions, Tapestry and Shangrila, frontman Jimmy Kyle was kind enough to pen a 'letter of musical recommendation' for us, revealing his connection to the hardcore scene in this country and giving a heartfelt shoutout to two hardcore bands with First Nations members, Nerve Damage and Homesick.  

Trying to make your way as a heavy band in Darwin would imaginably have its hardships; being isolated from the east coast touring circuit, let alone the rest of the country would make things difficult.
