We’re pretty excited forTrivium’sAustralian Tour and Corey Beaulieu recently took some time to talk toTone Deaf about what we can expect, as well as what he’s currently listening to and revealed that the band are about to get back in the studio!

Youve just finished up the Rock Star Mayhem festival tour, what are you keeping busy with now?

The boys only just graced us with their presence at theSoundwave Festival a few months ago butTrivium have announced that they’re coming back and bringingIn Flames with them! Make sure you get your hands on these tickets, it’s going to be one hell of a show.

Trivium seem like they’d be a pretty rad band to hang out with, andMetal Injection have helped prove that by shooting aDay In The Life OfAt Mayhem Festival!

It came as a surprise from everybody when a few months ago,Trivium released a statement outlining that the band will be playing with a new drummer instead ofNick Augusto. This was most surprising as the band were in the middle of a tour and have gone on to play shows as though nothing has even happened.

Trivium’s Corey Beaulieu spoke toGetYourRockOutbefore the band’s set atDownload Festivalrecently and revealed that the band are planning on having a new album ready for release next year!

Corey also spoke about how their new drummer is fitting in with the band and whether he’ll become a permanent fixture.

The change of drummers inTrivium came as a bit of a shock to everyone and been given only 24 hours for a new guy to come in and learn the band’s set mid tour is not easy for anyone, no matter how skilled you might be.
