Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026, ATHEIST’s second opus, “Unquestionable Presence,” is a landmark in progressive metal music fusing the insane aggression and speed of death and thrash metal with atmospheric and complex rhythmic patterns, incredible time changes and a jazz element revolutionary in extreme music back in 1991. Overshadowed by the way too early passing of bassist Roger Patterson at the age of 22, CYNIC bassist Tony Choy helped out to complete this masterpiece which was inducted into Decibel’s “Hall Of Fame” in 2005 with Kevin Stewart-Panko stating: “Consisting of mathematical song writing, heady lyrical concepts and a rhythm section bordering on the inhuman, ‘Unquestionable Presence’ set a technical metal benchmark and remains one of the most underrated albums in extreme music history.”

All orders are generally sent within 2-3 business days once payment has been received, or, in the case of a pre order, when the product becomes available, however please allow up to 5 business days once payment has been received for us to send your order. If we are unable to deliver your order to you within 30 days of the date of your Order Confirmation, you will have the option to cancel the order and are entitled to receive a full refund.
