The Purge, out May 31st, is a horror film with an interesting concept. In an America troubled by overcrowded prisons and high crime rates, the government have sanctioned an annual 12-hour period where there are absolutely no laws. Any criminal action, including murder, will go unpunished with no emergency services on call.
