The footage below was filmed by a local resident of Santo Antonio da Platina and shows hundreds of spiders suspended above the ground in a giant network of webs.
According to the experts, this type of behaviour is entirely normal and is not a rare occurrence! The spiders are also “known to be quite social”. So who’s still keen for that South American trip?
