    Deez Nuts are known for their crazy antics and I’m sure the time they spent on tour with The Amity Affliction for their ‘Let The Ocean Take Me’ tour was no different! You would have seen a snippet of the interview in the latest edition of theManiacs Magazine& here we’ve got the whole thing!

    1. The Let The Ocean Take Me tour will hit venue sizes of5000-8000capacity in the major cities. Tell us about the largest crowd youve ever played to and how you dealt with the nerves.

    We play to a lot of big crowds every year across the euro summer festival circuit. Probably the largest to date was WITH FULL FORCE festival playing to around 40,000 people. I generally don'tget nervous no matter what the crowd, but I do start drinking when I wake up so perhaps that’s partly why.

    2. Australia is home to some of the deadliest animals in the world, which are you most afraid of coming into contact with?

    Well being that much like amity affliction, half of DN is based in Australia, *fun fact: I live with ahren stringer* so there’s not to much wild life I’m concerned about… Perhaps the dreaded “rider spider”.

    3. What song are you most looking forward to hearing from the other bands on this tour?

    This will be my first time seeing amity play anything off “let the ocean take me” live, so exited to see anything new from them. Architects are my boys and are always amazing live, I look forward to there whole set as always. Ideals I’ve never heard before so this will be a new experience for me, that’s always exiting. Stray are practically our blood relatives, l will love there whole set every night. *funfact: last time I caught up with them in Europe they played “stay true” by DN And I sang spur of the moment unrehearsed to about 3000 kids!*

    4. Australians like to think we have the best beer on Earth. Tell us how much you agree and why.

    I don’t really fuck with beer, my tastes are a little more highbrow… Cognac, gin… Etc. hahaha. But as a proud Australian I think coopers is easily one of the best beers in the world. And the NYC half of DN would agree!

    5. What makes you a Maniac?

    The things that make me a maniac or that I’m a “maniac” for,would not look good in print… But to keep it PG, everyone in DN is a “maniac” for ratchet r&b right now. (See: Ty dolla sign)
