YouTuber Andre Antunes can seemingly turn any random internet clip into an epic metal number. One of his most recent arrangements is a 2017 speech from Carlos Matos of now-defunct Cryptocurrency company, BitConnect, and it's a work of genius.
The rendition starts off rather unsuspectingly with jazzy elevator music. But before you know it, Antunes slams into a wailing solo that takes a progressive twist as he's seen switching between guitar and bass over Matos exclaiming, "I am coming from New York City, New York!"
It's the perfect soundtrack to the flamboyant crypto investor who became internet-famous in his own right when after BitConnect was found to be a Ponzi scheme in 2018. This video was filmed at an annual ceremony in Pattaya, Thailand and became a pretty well-known meme after Mantos yelled, "BITCONNEEEEECCTTTT" several times throughout.
