    Ozzy Osbourne has released an early contender for coolest merch item of 2019, with a plush bat toy that commemorates the 37th anniversary of the infamous incident which saw him bite the head off a dead bat during a show in Des Moines, Iowa back in 1982.

    Standing at 30cm tall, the bat also has a velcro detachable head and is probably one of the craziest collector items around for any Ozzy fans out there!

    You can purchase the cute little guy for $40USD on the Ozzy webstore (UPDATE: the first batch is currently sold out but there are plans to release more soon).

    The incident has since become synonymous with Ozzy's image, even to the point where he appeared on Adam Sandler's film Little Nicky as himself, biting the head off another bat in the process (fake, of course). 

    The Prince of Darkness will be making his way to Australia to headline 2019's Download Festival in Sydney and Melbourne on March 9 and 11 respectively.
