The New York Yankees have released their 2023 opening day hype video, and be still our beating emo hearts, it is set to My Chemical Romance's Welcome To The Black Parade. Yep, even baseball is emo now.
My Chemical Romance reportedly treated the Brisbane audience to an eclectic mix of cuts from across their celebrated catalogue. Opening with their 2022 comeback single The Foundations Of Decay, the set featured tracks from every release with five songs each from their most recent full-studio album, 2010's Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, five from 2006's career-changing The Black Parade, three from 2004's breakout Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, two from singles collection Conventional Weapons, two from their 2002 debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, and B-side Bury Me In Black from their Life On The Murder Scene live album.
