While Deftones' 9th album Ohms is only a week away, they've just made the wait seem like that much longer with the release of the album's insane opening track 'Genesis'!
A new Deftones album has been high on our wishlist for some time now, especially after learning that the band were in the studio last year. After all, it's been over four years since the release of their last record Gore, so the hype continues to build.
While we've been waiting for anything from the upcoming new Deftones record, drummer Abe Cunningham has given us the first small tease of things to come via an Instagram Live chat with fans that recently took place.
One of the biggest drawcards (well for us anyway) for the Big Day Out festival this year would definitely have to be Deftones. The band’s drummer Abe Cunningham and bass player Sergio Vega had a chat with The AU Review at the Sydney leg of the festival. Check it out below!
