Fever 333 have released a ferocious new anthem $wing. The first song to be released by the Inglewood-based rap-rock project since they unveiled their new lineup, $wing pairs vocalist Jason Aalon Butler's trademark ferocious vocal stylings with a chaotic blend of hardcore and electronica before opening up with a monstrous chorus hook of "Swing batter, batter, swing".
The next era of the innovative Jason Aalon Butler-fronted project will see the band operate as a four-piece, with drummer Thomas Pridgen (ex-The Mars Volta/Trash Talk), guitarist Brandon Davis (Lions Lions) and bassist April Kae joining Butler in the Fever 333 ranks.
While we wait for the April 7th release of Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition and the reported six additional unreleased songs, demos and b-sides that will be included in the Limited Edition Super Deluxe Box Set, we've been satiating our own desire for a fresh Linkin Park fix by taking a deep-dive through the many covers of Linkin Park songs by other artists. We've compiled a list of five of the best Linkin Park covers.
In our latest feature, Good Thing Festival act Fever 333's inspirational frontman, Jason Aalon Butler goes deep on using music as a platform for genuine change in the community. Australia, let them know, that there's a fever coming.
