A couple of weeks ago Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland announced that the band were finally hitting the studio to record a new album, and now it seems that process is well underway with Wes sharing various updates via his Instagram.
There are a total of three posts in which you can hear brooding guitar and bass riffs being played by Borland, and another which says "Today was a very long and great day. We're on track.".

The band's longtime bassist Sam Rivers isn't present at these sessions, but he's also been largely absent from their recent touring cycle due to back issues, so it's not a huge surprise. There is also no word yet as to whether these recordings will become the fabled Stampede Of The Disco Elephants record, or if it's something entirely new. We'll keep ya posted!
Listen to Limp Bizkit now.
