If you've heard Bring Me The Horizon's  brand new single 'Medicine', you'll know that it has ushered in a very pop-centric sound for the band, moving further away from their heavier sound from previous years.

While the single is catchy in its own right, many fans were left wondering what could have been if they'd decided to keep things on the heavy side.

A YouTuber by the name of Nik Nocturnal has given us some idea of what that might sound like, taking 'Medicine' and covering it in the style of BMTH's 2013 album Sempiternal.

Nik actually does a pretty good job of emulating Oli Sykes' pitched yells, and while it's not a 100% accurate recreation of the sound, it's still a pretty sick cover. Check it out:

Bring Me The Horizon's new album amo drops on January 25. You can also check out two other singles from it, 'Mantra' and 'Wonderful Life'. The band will also be touring Australia in April on the following dates:

    Wednesday, 10th April
    Entertainment Centre, Brisbane

    Friday, 12th April
    Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney

    Saturday, 13th April
    Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
