  • Tool Post New Visual Teasers, Plan For Mid-April Album Release

    It's Tool time, baby! All the speculation, the waiting and the hype seems to be reaching a boiling point, and we could be getting the new album as early as April.

    The internet was sent into a frenzy after drummer Danny Carey could be heard telling a fan that the record will "be out mid-April. That's the plan anyway." in a video from NAMM 2019 just a few days ago:

    In the wake of this news, Tool have now updated their official site (www.toolband.com) with a whole bunch of new visualisers and artwork, which appear to be the rumblings of something new on the way. The kaleidoscopic artwork differs depending on which of the site's tabs you click on, but it all seems to revolve around the human anatomy with some colourful patterns splashed onto the site's background.

    Maynard James Keenan confirmed that he had finished recording vocals months ago, and we've heard multiple times that the album would be out this year. 

    We'll keep you updated on anything new!
