If you're familiar with The Dillinger Escape Plan then you'll know that they used to put on some crazy live shows. Hell, we even featured them in our list of the most intense live bands of all time!

Their set at the 2013 Golden Gods award ceremony is maybe one of the best examples of this, when they made an unsuspecting crowd of metalheads shit themselves over 14 minutes of mayhem.

Frontman Greg Puciato began with climbing the stack of Orange amps before smashing a guitar on said stack, cracking his head open and having blood pour down his face for the rest of the set.

The band later bring out Deftones vocalist Chino Moreno to perform his guest vocals on 'Behind The Wheel', who got more than he bargained for when Puciato started fire-breathing, causing Chino to motion a time-out with his hands and hastily run off stage. As guitarist Ben Weinman told Rolling Stone:

"I’m not sure what Greg did to himself to make him bleed like that … but when he started breathing fire, you could see Chino thinking, ‘I like you guys, but fuck this – I’m out of here!'”

Other highlights include a young kid in the crowd at 3:10 trying to comprehend what he's watching, Greg saying "this is real shit, motherfuckers" at 4:16 and the drum kit being dismantled piece by piece during the last song '43% Burnt'.

    Check it out:

To think they could have played any of their accessible singles like 'Milk Lizard' or 'Black Bubblegum' but chose to play a bunch of their most chaotic songs instead. Dillinger never comprised anything, and we miss them dearly!
