    The Red Shore

    One of the biggest talking points of this year's sold-out Invasion Fest was the reunion of Aussie deathcore/metalcore legends The Red Shore, who performed their first show in a decade.


    The band used the opportunity to dedicate the set to the band's former vocalist Damien Morris who died in a fatal minibus accident on tour in 2007, also killing driver Andy Milner.

    "This will be an opportunity to honour Damo and Andy, who lost their lives giving everything for this band. They forever remain a part of The Red Shore and we will have their memory with us whilst we perform."

    Vocalist Chase Butler was absent at the show due to his position in Defence requiring him to attend to Australia's bushfire crisis instead, though former Jack The Stripper vocalist Luke Frizon stepped up in his place to help steal the show.
