Trivium have released Part 1 of a new series of webisodes giving us a behind the scenes look at the makingof their new album The Sin And The Sentence! Take a look at episode one now:
The announcement of The Sin And The Sentence came with two brand new songs; album title track The Sin And The Sentence, as well as The Heart From Your Hate. The Sin and The Sentence will be the bands first new material since their 2015 release Silence In The Snow.
Recorded with Josh Wilbur, the producer behind tracks from Lamb of God and Gojira, the new album is said to be "The 'most Trivium' Trivium album we could make" said by bassist Paolo Gregoletto.
Paolo also spoke briefly on the introduction of their new drummer Alex Bent; "It has been about a year and a half, almost two years since we started really working on it, so we were kind of working on it on the down load while we were touring. We really came together and made it November of last year when we got Alex into the band. We kind of threw him into the deep end, because we were, like, 'You've gotta learn an entire headlining set — and we're gonna start writing new music.' So we kind of rolled the dice with that one, but Alex ended up really stepping up — he really crushed it."
