    The Black Dahlia Murder

It's a good day when The Black Dahlia Murder announce something new, and today is that day with the band revealing their ninth album Verminous will arrive on April 17!

The title track is also streaming below, pulling you into the slimy, grimy underworld that TBDM are creating on this record. It absolutely shreds - listen to it right now:

The band have released a new record like clockwork every two years since forming in 2001, but Verminous will break that tradition as their first release since 2017's Nightbringers. Vocalist Trevor Strnad says the album is the biggest leap in style they've made to date, opting for a more dynamic and complete sound:

“I think this is the biggest evolutionary leap we’ve ever taken from one album to the next. We stoked the creative fires with 2017’s ‘Nightbringers‘ and it’s gone much further now in ‘Verminous‘. It’s a very colorful, moody, and charismatic album that experiments with new sounds and ideas without losing the cutthroat Black Dahlia edge. There is a lot of minutiae to digest. Plenty of delicious little Easter eggs woven into the fabric of each song. Each one is a living, breathing entity that will stand on its own as some of the best music this band has ever created.”
