You may remember a couple of little movies back in the 2000's called House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects. Both films were made by Rob Zombie and gained a cult-like status for their celebration of extreme violence.
An Instagram post made by Zombie has confirmed that the shooting has been completed for the final part in the trilogy some 15 years later. Titled 3 From Hell, the movie is also actually set 15 years after The Devil's Rejects, which should make for an interesting premise, and will star Danny Trejo, Clint Howard and Matthew Willig.
In an Instagram post, Rob posted a picture of himself directing each movie from 2001 to 2018. Nothing has changed a whole lot except a much grayer beard! He said:
It took awhile to complete the trilogy but we did it. Top pic is shooting House of 1000 Corpses in 2001 - shooting The Devil's Rejects in 2004 and finally shooting 3 From Hell in 2018. Quite a Fucking journey to say the least.
There's no word on a release schedule for the new film, although there will surely be some details being released over the coming months.
Listen to Rob Zombie now.
