You've woken up slowly after a Sunday sleep-in, made yourself a coffee and stepped outside to lazily bask in the warm spring sun and a slight cool breeze before you tackle your day. That's exactly what listening to Plini's new EP Sunhead feels like in audio form, and you can now experience it for yourself in full!

The four tracks span 20 minutes and are packed with heaps of dynamics and ideas which explore genres from jazz to funk and progressive metal. The Sydney-based instrumental genius said: '“This EP has got some weirder time signatures and more complicated harmonies, but I think it still sounds pretty pleasant.”

"Pretty pleasant" is god damn right. Spring is just around the corner too, so we can't wait to give it a spin during a similar scenario to the one above.

Here's a YouTube playlist of all four tracks, but you can also find it on all good streaming services if that's how you butter your bread:

Plini is also touring next month and you can catch him on the following dates:

Friday, September 7 - The Zoo, Brisbane

Saturday, September 8 - Manning Bar, Sydney

Thursday, September 13 - Badlands Bar, Perth

Friday, September 14 - Jive, Adelaide

Saturday, September 15 - The Corner, Melbourne

He also recently spoke to us about his favourite underrated guitarists which you can check out here!

    Listen to Plini now.
