Motörhead's undisputed classic Ace of Spades has been given the godly treatment it deserves,  thanks to two local metalheads blasting it from a church's bells in the Netherlands!

Guitarist Jitse Zonneveld and Bell Ringer Frank Steijns teamed up for a blistering guitar and church bell rendition of the hard rock rager that had the town of Weert in raptures and the walls of its gothic Sint Martinuskerk church shaking.  It's so good that the band themselves gave it their approval on Twitter tweeting: “Here’s one we really like”, linking to the video on their official YouTube channel. Which had to be a pretty rad moment for the two metalhead maestros behind the rendition.

The performance was put together as part of the town's Torenfestival and if the crowd response outside of the church is anything to go by, they should really consider doing this type of thing more often!  We would 100% be up for more metal and rock classics being given the godly nod!

In the meantime, we are just glad that Lemmy's long inferred place as a god,  has now been confirmed by the earthly representatives of the almighty himself.  The bell tolls for you, Lemmy and it goes bloody hard.
