    Mike Shinoda + Matt Heafy

Twitch is a platform that has enabled many amazing musical collaborations to come to life over the last couple of years, and now Mike Shinoda is looking to team up with Matt Heafy to keep the trend going!

As Shinoda announced on Twitter, he's going to be collaborating with the Trivium frontman by remixing a track provided by Heafy himself. Those excited to hear Shinoda take part in a metal track might be disappointed though, as he says he's going to put a different spin on it:

"I got Matt's blessing to get weird with the track too, we're not just gonna make a metal track, we're not gonna make a Trivium track. Because if you wanted a Trivium track, you could just get a Trivium track...you could go to Matt's channel and get that.

So I'm gonna take his vocal and even his guitar, and chop them into little tiny bits and run them through a meat grinder, and then we're gonna make a track out of it. I don't even know what I'm gonna make. But the track he sent - is so... it's like, EPIC! It's Matt standing on a mountain top with a falcon on his wrist that flies away, and collects the bones of...um, enemy clans."

Now that's one way to get us hype - can't wait to hear how it turns out!

We'll share the track with you once it's up, but be sure to check out both Mike Shinoda and Matt Heafy's Twitch channels for a wealth of fantastic content in the meantime!
