Ahead of the release of their new album The NothingKorn have announced that they will be 'performing' a brand new song at a concert on August 20. Not your average concert though - they will be playing the song inside the virtual world of the online role-playing games AdventureQuest 3D and AQ Worlds!

The game's creators Artix released a statement about the event:

"Get in the most brutal mosh pit ever ... and make video game history! Korn is playing the grand opening of the Battle Concert Arena in the massively multiplayer games, AdventureQuest 3D & AQWorlds. The band will play on stage while you fight monsters, score loot, and hear a new song from Korn's upcoming album.... The Nothing. When you create a new AdventureQuest 3D game character, we'll slide a magical concert ticket into your inventory. Your ticket will allow you to instantly teleport to the special event. At least, it will when the event starts."

You'll get to beat up monsters and collect loot to the soundtrack of the new Korn jam at "Sundown (EST)", which would roughly translate to between 7-10am on August 21 if you're in Australia.

If you want to get in on the show, then luckily the game is free to play on both PC and Android/Apple devices.

Korn's new album The Nothing will be out on September 13 - make sure you check out the first two singles 'You'll Never Find Me' and 'Cold' if you haven't already.
