Latin metallers Ill Nio have settled the trademark dispute over the band's name and have returned with a heavy new track called 'Máscara' which you can check out below.
The band's lineup still includes founding drummer Dave Chavarri and longtime bassist Lazaro Pina, but vocalist Cristian Machado has been replaced by new singer Marcos Leal, who is also in the band Shattered Sun.
Check out the new track below, which also features guest vocals from AJ Channer (Fire From The Gods):
The band's new vocalist Marcos Leal said of the new song:
"I’m very stoked to introduce 'Máscara' as a great addition to the Ill Nio legacy, and a highlight of my vocal career. I’m honored to have collaborated with our very good friend and one of my favorite vocalists in the game, AJ Channer, of Fire From the Gods. As someone who’s grown up as a fan of Ill Nio, and growing up as a musician inspired by the band, I take pride and honor in crafting the vocals for the next generation. Something fans new and old will appreciate, and look forward to throwing some chingasos in the pit with our Nio Familia in 2021!"
Guess there's more to come next year - can't wait! The band's last album Till Death, La Familia was released way back in July 2014, so we're definitely keen.
Listen to Ill Nio now.
