It's Friday, Friday, got to get your fresh metal fix on Friday.  That's right Maniacs it is finally Friday which means it is time to kick off the weekend with some Friday Fire

With so many new metal releases dropping every week, it can be hard to know what to listen to, so we've taken it upon ourselves to do the heavy lifting, sorting the 'hell yeah' from the 'hell meh' you don't have to.  So without fear or favour, here are is our Friday Fire: Five New Tracks We're Feeling This Friday 12th November.

    Ocean Grove - Cali Sun

Ocean Grove returns with this electric, upbeat summer singleThis positive, passionate and uplifting earworm also comes alongside a trippy music video that perfectly suits the vibe. Yet another sonic reinvention from one of the most explorative groups in recent memory, the trio absolutely crush this late '90s rave meets alt-rock vibe here. They might sound like a completely different band nowadays, but this is undeniably an absolute jam.

Venom Prison - Judges Of The Underworld

Welsh death metallers Venom Prison dropped this five-minute example of modern death metal perfection last Saturday and we've been cranking it pretty much non-stop ever since. The perfect example for the uninitiated of why we consider Venom Prison to be one of the most underrated bands in all of metal. The riffs rip, the drums are fittingly frantic and the vocals from Larissa Stupar are nothing short of frightening. This is fucking sick.

    Northlane- Echo Chamber

Heavy trailblazers Northlane cover new sonic ground on Echo Chamber, injecting their progressive metalcore sound with a dose of electronica to cultivate a gargantuan groove. Featuring some powerhouse vocals from Marcus Bridge who effortlessly transitions between soaring melodic work and brutal growls, Echo Chamber encourages listeners to step outside of the echo chamber created by the algorithm-driven world of the online space and embrace objective truth.  The band announced a new album Obsidian and some Aussie tour dates earlier this week, so the future is bright for the next genesis of Northlane.

    Rolo Tomassi - Drip

Rolo Tomassi recently announced a new album, Where Myth Becomes Memory (out Feb 4th)accompanying the news with this absolute gem of a single Drip. Drip does everything that Rolo Tomassi do better than anyone else on the planet, mixing atmospherics, throat-shredding screams, haunting melodic passages and a punishing metal soundscape to cultivate a listening experience that is unmistakenly their own. Check out the artistic double-exposed visuals of the video clip below for the full immersive Rolo Tomassi experience.

    Future Palace -  Paradise

The Berlin post-hardcore trio Future Palace burst back to life in full force on ParadiseParadise incorporates a host of new elements for the band, expanding the sonic and emotional repertoire at their command. Reminiscent of metalcore heavy weights such as While She Sleeps, their new sound delivers an unparalleled exciting force with engaging vocals and furious temper. If you dug the Spiritbox record, you'll dig this, we do.

Bonus round because Korn dropped a new track and when that happens we are permitted to break all of the rules at Maniacs

    Korn
    - Start The Healing
