It's Friday, Friday, got to get your fresh metal fix on Friday.  That's right Maniacs it is finally Friday which means it is time to kick off the weekend with some Friday Fire.

With so many new metal releases dropping every week, it can be hard to know what to listen to, so we've taken it upon ourselves to do the heavy lifting, sorting the 'hell yeah' from the 'hell meh' you don't have to.  So without fear or favour, here are is our Friday Fire: Five New Tracks We're Feeling This Friday.

Tom Morello feat. Bring Me The Horizon -  Let's Get The Party Started

Let's Get The Party Started  is the third single off of Rage Against The Machine guitarist and metal icon Tom Morello's highly anticipated album The Atlas Underground Fire. This collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon is an absolute blast. Morello does what he does best, providing killer grooves while Oli Sykes and the BMTH crew go for it in a way that is out of step with their most recent material.

    RedHook - Sentimental Surgery

A loving tribute to the emo music that shaped RedHook’s teen years, ‘Sentimental Surgery’ lyrically brims with lead singer Emmy Mack’s trademark self-deprecating, tongue-in cheek humour. 90’s-inspired funk rhythms set the stage for a feverish collision of musical elements from pop-punk and modern emo-trap, continuing RedHook’s celebrated affection for sonic alchemy

    Banks Arcade - Don't Start

New UNFD signees Banks Arcade straddle elements of hard rock, electro and metalcore, taking influence from names like Northlane, The Prodigy and SAINt JHNDon't Start is a determined effort both musically and visually that invites you to snap your head to it.

Stick To Your Guns -  More Of Us Than Them

Posi-Hardcore veterans Stick To Your Guns return to form on their first new release in four years.

More Of Us Than Them is a prototypical Stick To Your Guns stomper that has its origins in a breakdown written by the late Tom Searle of Architects and gifted to the band by him because he felt it was "too much like STYG to be used for Architects".  Stick To Your Guns have built a banger of a track around it, delivering a ripper "fuck you" to the powers that be worldwide.  Turn it up.

Invent Animate - The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was

Invent Animate combine houghtfully curated music and visual elements, emotive storytelling and explosively heavy sonics combine to pack the ultimate punch on The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was.

Released today, the excellent full EP also titled The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was sees Invent Animate opening up a powerful discourse on the ricochet effect of trauma and addiction.
