    Harris 3 - Smash Mouth Cover

    Metal has been showing up on mainstream TV quite a bit lately, with covers of Lamb Of God and Slipknot appearing on the singing competition The Voice, but now things are taking another bizarre turn with a family doing a death metal cover of Smash Mouth's 'All Star' on the Nickelodeon show America's Most Musical Family!


    The band is called Harris 3, consisting of two boys on drums and vocals and their dad on the guitar. Upon closer inspection, it's actually the same three that we found last year performing grindcore in their garage as Mommy's Lil' Monsterz.

    The cover is a little rough around the edges, sure, but these kids have brought the 'All Star' meme to the masses, and we can't fault them for that. Plus, those blast beats are pretty fantastic - check it out:

    Gotta love the judges pretending to look like they're into it but definitely doesn't know what the hell is going on:
