    DC Dark Nights Comic Soundtrack

    DC Comics and Loma Vista Recordings have announced the Dark Nights: Death Metal Soundtrack. Executive produced by Tyler Bates (Guardians Of The Galaxy, Watchmen, John Wick), the soundtrack will be released digitally on 18th June and physically on 16th July.

    Through this soundtrack, the esteemed composer, Bates, has united an array of artists across various genres, including heavy artists like Mastodon, In This Moment's Maria Brink, Rise Against, and Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides.  The superhero soundtrack also mixes in his own original music adding a unique new dimension to the series through a multimedia experience including custom limited-edition comics, videos, and more.

    Mastodon's Forged By Neron is the lead single and album opener setting the tone by name-checking a demon lord of Hell who appears throughout the series.  The visualiser has been viewed over 50 thousand times in less than 24 hours.

    Brann Dailor of Mastodon says "We are super excited and honoured to be part of the Dark Nights: Death Metal Soundtrack! We've all been fans of DC Comics and the Batman universe since we were kids, so it really means a lot for us to be able to add something to that world."

    The soundtrack also features an exciting collab between Maria Brink (In This Moment), Andy Biersack (Black Veil Brides) and Tyler Bates himself titled Meet Me In The Fire which is yet to be released. 

    Brink said via her Instagram, "So excited and honoured to be apart of the DC Comics Dark Nights Death Metal Soundtrack. Working with Tyler Bates and Andy Biersack has been such an amazing experience.  So many talented artists are involved with this soundtrack...Please check out and stay tuned.
