    Oh yeah baby, it's new Devin Townsend time! The build-up to the release of his highly-awaited new album Empath has been seen many twists and turns including the announcement of a feature with Nickelback's Chad Kroeger.

    With the record set for release on March 29, he's unleashed the first single 'Genesis' upon the world, and boy is it epic. Clocking in at over 6 minutes, 'Genesis' throws almost everything at you including choirs, orchestras, psychotic blast beats and everything in between!

    The video shows Devin listening to the song while sitting in front of a green screen which goes through a whole bunch of trippy visuals that go hand in hand with the winding nature of the track.

    It's weird, it's wonderful - it's Devin Townsend. Check it out:

    Empath will be the first album released under his name alone since 2007's Ziltoid The Omniscient.
