Bring Me The Horizon have had a pretty huge 2019, releasing their sixth album amo and subsequently filling out arenas all over the world - but they've now announced that they will be crossing over into the world of video games with a new track called 'Ludens' to be featured on the OST for the upcoming Hideo Kojima game Death Stranding.
The collaboration is not a huge surprise given that BMTH are clearly fans of Kojima's past work; their track 'Shadow Moses' is a direct reference to his Metal Gear Solid franchise, and the band visited Kojima's studio last month as well.
Death Stranding is an action game on Playstation 4 which is set in an open world, and has drummed up a lot of buzz in the gaming world over its bizarre and unique setting, which features a philosophical take on the link between life and death. The game also features motion capture performancesfromf actors Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen and Tommie Earl Jenkins among others as characters in the game.
Here's a trailer:
The Death Stranding: Timefall soundtrack will be released on November 7 (one day before the video game is released), and will also feature artists from across the board like Chvrches, Major Lazer and The Neighbourhood to name a few.
