Watch This Awesome Brass Band Cover Deftones' 'My Own Summer (Shove It)'

Brass Against are a YouTube-based brass band that cover some of heavy music's most beloved tunes (Pantera's 'Walk', for example), and they do a smashing job of it too.

Their latest video tackles Deftones' almighty banger 'My Own Summer (Shove It)' from their 1997 classic Around The Fur, and it's impressively true to the original while still sounding different enough to make it unique in its own right.

The band's vocalist Sophia Urista manages to sound scarily similar to Chino Moreno thanks to a faithful replication of vocal effects, while trumpets and trumbones pipe in over the guitar work to add a fresh and dissonant flavour to the song.

That Sophia is one hell of a vocalist; she actually appeared on the US version of The Voice last year too.

Now where's that new Deftones album at?
